Museum reopening announced

Powys County Council reopened the Museum and Art Gallery at y Gaer on Glamorgan Street, Brecon to visitors following the first Covid lockdown on Friday 31 July 2020.  It opened for limited hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with entry and sign in for visitors from Captains Walk Gardens via the Atrium entrance on the south side of y Gaer.  It closed from January to May 2021 during the second lockdown.  

It is currently (July 2021) open five days a week on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  For further details of any changes to opening times – see the y Gaer website which is now operational.
