Memorial evensong service including wreath laying at the grave and choir from Priory Church, Abergavenny. Address by Dr Rowan Williams.

Lord Thomas who recently retired as Lord Chief Justice was born in Cwmgiedd near Ystradgynlais, Breconshire. Title to be announced.

On Monday October 2 2017, jointly with other members of the Brecknock History Forum, there will be a visit to the National Library at Aberystwyth.
