In the autumn of 2015 the book 'Above Brecknock' was published jointly by the BS&MF and the Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust in collaboration with The Royal Commission on Ancient and Historic Monuments in Wales.
This book by Chris Musson and Toby Driver provides a treasured record of the internationally recognised landscape of Breconshire and the impact on it of human activity. Photographs include stunning views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, prehistoric chambered tombs and hillforts, Roman forts, medieval castles, the towns, villages of Usk and Wye valleys, together with more recent industrial and military sites.
